Welcome to KUMFYKATZ RESCUE

KUMFYKATZ Rescue is a small independent rescue based in Camberley, Surrey, and covers the N.E. Hampshire, S. Berkshire, N.W. Surrey areas.

All cats that are relinquished to KUMFYKATZ are assessed by our vet on entry and any required treatment is administered. Once given the all clear, they are placed in a Foster Home, where they will stay until adopted. A 2 week quarantine / assessment period is required before any cat is put up for adoption. Our Cats go into foster homes, as part of a family,because we do not have a cattery or a “Rescue Centre”. We feel this is beneficial to our cats and offers a more homely and calmer environment for them where they get individual attention and care.

All adoptors are homechecked prior to adoption being approved.

All our Fosterers and Volunteers are rigorously Home Checked and Local Authority checked.

We use local professional vets with whom we have a good working relationship. As a small rescue we will always do our best to help what Cats we can. There are, sadly, times when we cannot help, due to lack of funds or space.

Should the case be deemed an emergency and we can't help by taking the Cat ourselves we will help the best we

can by contacting other rescues who might be able to assist.

We liaise with other local rescues and work together with them in ensuring the cats are given the best chance to have a happy life. Our funding is very tight and we rely solely on donations from the public and adoption fees, which covers the vet costs that we incur.

KUMFYKATZ Rescue has a NO DESTROY POLICY unless on the expressed opinion of our Vet, and only then if every possible thing has been tried! We push every inch of the way to give our cats a chance of a new life.
